As a valued member of the Red Cross family, you have given your time, skills, dedication and compassion to those in need.  Without you, there would be no Red Cross—you are not just a part of our work force, you are a member of our family.  When our friends and neighbors need Red Cross services, help starts with you.
 
Through March 2009, we are inviting you to take advantage of an additional opportunity to help the Chapter: by making a financial contribution through the “Help Starts with You” Campaign.
 
Because we are a nonprofit organization, not a governmental agency, we depend on the generosity of individuals who give to the Chapter because they believe in the mission of the Red Cross, and in the good work we do.  As part of our Red Cross family, you share this same belief, and through your volunteer work you have shown your commitment to carry out our mission.
 
Our goal is for 500 volunteers to make a gift of any amount during the “Help Starts with You” Campaign.  Every dollar helps our Chapter to deliver its life-saving services in the St. Louis metropolitan region.
