Join the American Red Cross and the Missouri-Illinois Blood Services Region on Saturday, May 17, 2008 for a very special event for the whole family. Team up with your St. Louis area neighbors to take three steps: Donate Blood, Learn CPR and Prepare for Emergencies.
The next Community Heroes Day will take place at the James J. Eagan Community Center, One James J. Eagan Drive, at the following times on Saturday, May 17:
- Donate Blood from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Learn CPR from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Prepare for Disasters from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Take advantage of this special opportunity to learn American Red Cross certified CPR at the reduced price of $10 per person - a $46 value!
While you donate blood, your children can learn to prepare for emergencies such as fires and severe weather through games and activities. Parents must be available to pick up their children at the end of the presentation. Adult Q&A session will be open from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Training is free and no registration is required.
All CPR training participants and blood donors receive a free commemorative t-shirt.
