 The American Red Cross St. Louis Area Chapter is accepting donations from people wishing to help victims of the severe weather in De Soto and southwest Missouri. The projected cost of the Red Cross disaster assistance efforts is $1 million, including an anticipated 100 cases in De Soto alone. People wishing to make donations or needing assistance from the Red Cross can call the local chapter at 314-516-2800, or visit the chapter Web site at www.redcrossstl.org.
