 Firefighters with Central County Fire Protection District battled a blaze Monday morning at a two-story, three-unit condominium at Windwood Village in St. Peters.
The fire, which severely damaged one unit, occurred at about 9:15 a.m. at 1 Glen Echo Drive, said Central County Assistant Chief Steve Brown. Three people inside the home escaped without injury, Brown said.
Central County personnel were still investigating the cause of the fire Monday. Crews with the Cottleville Fire Protection District and St. Charles Fire Department assisted in putting out the flames. Staff with the St. Charles branch of the American Red Cross aided the victims.
