Americans get a failing grade on their preparedness for emergencies, including a terrorist attack or a natural disaster, according to a new report. Just 12 percent of those questioned said they had done a great deal to prepare, such as learning evacuation routes or putting together an emergency kit. |

Bosnian Blood Samples May Lead to Finding Missing Loved Ones
The American Red Cross St. Louis Area Chapter, in partnership with the International Institute of St. Louis, helped to coordinate the International Commission on Missing Persons' visit to St. Louis Dec. 9-12 to obtain blood samples from the local Bosnian community. This visit is part of an ongoing effort to identify missing loved ones killed in the former Yugoslavia during the armed conflict of the 1990s. |
