Unlike party-goers in Soulard, I did not spend my weekend partaking in Mardi Gras fesivities. Instead - I was searching the internet for interesting blog content for YOU! Here are some of the more interesting things I found:

1. Finally -- a flu treatment that works! This is big news. Researchers have come up with an experimental treatment that essentially fights multiple strains of the flu at once, including the 1918 Spanish flu and the H5N1 bird flu. The study is from Harvard Medical School and the CDC, and was published yesterday in the journal Nature. The medical community is already buzzing about the wide implications of this work. |

| 2. Kids' pajamas & fire safety: Have you ever wondered why some kids' pajamas specify that they are supposed to be worn "fitted"? Well, here's the answer. Apparently, those "fitted" pj's aren't as flame resistant. Probably a good idea to check those tags th next time you are out shopping. |
