Have you ever wondered what it would be like to hang out with Tony LaRussa on game-day? How about to go behind the scenes on the making of a local television show? Do you ever wonder what it would be like to fly with the Rams to an away game, or to have free downtown parking for a year, or to take a private tour of the Anheuser Busch Archives, or to go on an “all you can buy” shoe shopping spree, or to drive the Zamboni at the Blues Game…or to--- STOP! This is too exciting!
Well dream no more my friends, because these things and more are about to become very real for a handful of lucky winners.
Beginning Monday, August 10 th, the United Way of Greater St. Louis is giving you the opportunity to bid on these rare and priceless items in a 10 day online auction. All of the 100+ items, experiences, trips, and events were donated by STL businesses and residents and feature exclusive opportunities for everyone from art-lovers and sports-enthusiast to shopping extraordinaires. In addition to the once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, there are also pieces of signed celebrity memorabilia, concert and sporting event tickets, and private parties. There is truly something for all ages, tastes, and price ranges.
To participate, log onto www.givebidwin.com or click here for a sneak peek at the full listing of auction items. Bidding begins Monday, August 10 at 7 a.m. CST and runs through August 20 th. All proceeds from the auction benefit United Way’s 2009 campaign and will be distributed to their nearly 200 local member agencies.
