Here's a look at our recent Holiday Mail for Heroes card sorting event. The St. Louis Area Chapter had some 2,000 cards to sort through!

Holiday Mail for Heroes was slowed down a bit because the volunteers were eager to share messages added to cards for the active duty and veterans. The cards from children seemed to catch everyone’s eye. Some were simple, some quite detailed, but all were from the heart. Cards came from all over the country for sorting by St. Louis Chapter Volunteers.  Simultaneously, some Chapter Elves (aka volunteers) were wrapping tokens of appreciation that will be soon be delivered to the Veterans in John Cochran VA hospital in St. Louis. Amidst the stickers and bows was some heavy duty conversation and lots of sharing of holiday spirit.

Thank you to all the volunteers who gave of their time to support Holiday Mail for Heroes and wrap presents.
