Jeff Pack and son at Boy Scout Camp
|
As a Boy Scout Leader for my son’s troop, I enjoy watching these boys develop skills they’ll use the rest of their lives. But nothing could have taught them a better life lesson than an incident at Boy Scout camp this July. I was reviewing first aid with my son (coincidentally) when I heard yelling- then ran to find another scout’s father on the ground, not breathing. My Red Cross training took over. I was able to give him CPR and get him breathing before a paramedic arrived. My son was pretty amazed that his Dad had saved someone’s life.
Jeff Pack is Red Cross certified in First Aid/CPR/AED

Re: Jeff Pack- Giving My Son a Real Life Lesson
First aid protocols across the USA and Europe seems more uniform these days. It is good to help and save lives!
