Gift certificates for lifesaving training, such as CPR and First Aid, Babysitting, and Pet First Aid are also available. Great for gift giving and easy to order from home, these items are one of the few holiday options that can help save a life and make ideal gifts for friends and family. Following are descriptions of some of the available items:
First Aid Flip Chart- This quick reference guide puts first aid basics at your fingertips. The chart covers everything from basic first aid needs to life-threatening situations. The First Aid Flip Chart has two magnetic strips on the back for easy display at your home, school or office. It fits perfectly on a refrigerator, classroom board or desk area. Cost: $8.00
Family First Aid Kit- This first aid kit is easy to use, simplifying first aid procedures. The American Red Cross Family First Aid Kit is a soft nylon red and white pouch. It is water-resistant with convenient carrying straps and foam padding that can be used to make a splint. Included in the kit are supplies for severe bleeding and burns, medium cuts and scrapes, a rescue blanket, cold pack, scissors and gloves, and much more. Cost: $25.00

Founded in 1917, the American Red Cross St. Louis Area Chapter provides emergency and preparedness assistance more than 354,000 times to St. Louis-area residents each year.
