
Local workers to support relief effort, including sheltering, feeding and health services
St. Louis, Monday, August 20, 2007 - In the aftermath of severe flooding, the American Red Cross St. Louis Area Chapter will deploy seven disaster relief workers on Tuesday to southeastern Minnesota to provide support for the ongoing disaster relief effort. The relief workers have accepted deployments that may last as long as three weeks and will specialize in sheltering, feeding, health services and logistics.
The seven deployed Red Cross workers from the St. Louis Area Chapter include the following:
