Eight local Red Cross workers have now been deployed to support ongoing relief effort
St. Louis, Tuesday, August 21, 2007 - The American Red Cross St. Louis Area Chapter will deploy its Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) and two additional disaster relief workers to Minnesota to support the ongoing relief effort that follows severe regional flooding. The ERV is equipped to serve up to 600 meals at a time throughout the most severely impacted neighborhoods.
Tuesday's deployments bring the total number of local Red Cross workers responding to the Minnesota floods to eight:
