St. Louis, July 21, 2006 – In response to calls for assistance, Anheuser-Busch, Inc. is donating $100,000 to the St. Louis Chapter of the American Red Cross to help those impacted by severe storms that struck the region this week, as well as for those suffering from the unrelenting high temperatures in the area.
In addition to the donation, Anheuser-Busch has delivered a total of 4,300 cases, or 103,200 cans, of safe drinking water to emergency relief centers in St. Louis and the Metro East area. That water is available at the following relief centers: Wohl Recreation Center, 1515 North Kingshighway, St. Louis; Marquette Recreation Center, 4025 Minnesota, St. Louis; Emge Junior High, 740 Westchester, Belleville, Ill.; and the Clyde Jordan Senior Citizen Center in East St. Louis. A total of 150 cases of 180 Sport water were also delivered to St. Louis County Police Emergency Management.

We know that by supporting the Red Cross in its efforts to assist victims of the recent storms in St. Louis, we will be helping all those who have been affected get back on their feet as soon as possible,” said August A. Helping communities cope with natural disasters has been an Anheuser-Busch tradition since 1906 when Adolphus Busch made a donation to victims of the San Francisco earthquake. In 2005, Anheuser-Busch donated more than 9.4 million cans of safe drinking water to victims of natural disasters.
