
St. Louis, Thursday, July 27, 2006 – A special one-day pass to the 2006 Missouri State Fair,
August 10-20, is on sale now at area Lowe’s. The $20 pass provides entry to the Fair as well as an Unlimited Carnival Ride Wristband for all day unlimited ride privileges.
For each State Fair unlimited-ride pass sold at Lowe’s, $2 will be donated to the American Red Cross Missouri Disaster Relief Fund for relief to disaster victims statewide. The Unlimited Wristband pass is available only through Lowe’s stores. A list of participating stores in the St. Louis area is included below.
“We are very pleased to offer our fairgoers a special benefit while helping a very worthy organization,” said Kimberly Allen, director of marketing for the Missouri State Fair. “The American Red Cross helps more than 2,000 families recover from home fires and other disasters each year throughout Missouri. That is an important service to our state.”
