Anheuser-Busch Provides Support to the American Red Cross for Hurricane Relief
Anheuser-Busch Companies and its charitable foundation have been long-time supporters of the American Red Cross, and most recently have made significant contributions to the ongoing hurricane relief efforts. Nationally, in preparation for the 2005 Hurricane Season, the company pre-positioned canned drinking water, which was immediately accessible for the Red Cross response to Hurricanes Dennis and Emily. In the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Anheuser-Busch donated 6.7 million cans of fresh drinking water for distribution by the Red Cross and other relief agencies throughout the affected regions. |

American Red Cross to Dispatch Four Additional Volunteers to Assist in Hurricane Relief Efforts
Four Red Cross volunteers will deploy on Thursday to assist in the ongoing response to the 2005 Hurricane Season, bringing the total number of local Red Cross volunteers responding this season to 40. Phyllis Oppliger, Karen Proffitt and Tonda Van Hoose will deploy to Orlando to assist in the aftermath of Hurricane Wilma, while Holly Webb will deploy to Mississippi to support the ongoing Hurricane Katrina recovery effort. |

The St. Louis Area Chapter has provided emergency assistance with food, shelter, clothing, prescription medication, mental health counseling and more to 5,722 people from 2,440 families who have evacuated as a result of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
